Moose breaks down DraftKings League of Legends North America – March 28 – 3:00 PM EST
Teams to Target
When playing a DraftKings League of Legends tournament, it is important to team stack and focus on narrowing down the teams that will provide the best chance of winning. Total score is determined by kills, assists and overall player performance in each LoL game that happens on the rift, but the goal is always to aim and stack winning teams for the easiest chance at taking down cash games and GPP tournaments. We take a closer look at what teams might be able to provide us an edge.
This slate is going to require you to pick dogs. Choose wisely and I hope this article helps.
Interesting spot here against a just-as-struggling team in Golden Guardians.
We’ll see if they can regain form against Liquid’s slacking roster.
TSM needs a win here badly; probably my least confident pick.
Expensive but worth it.
Players to Target
Player knowledge is just as important as team knowledge. Knowing where a player can shine in a line is what separates the people who cash GPPs regularly and those who fall off.
Wildturtle (FLY) $6,000 ADC
Way too cheap for his matchup in the bottom lane. If they win this game, they need him.
Bjergsen (TSM) $8,000 MID
Expensive, I know, but value isn’t on this slate.
Dardoch (TSM) $7,400 JNG
We need some help in consistency for this position, and Dardoch offers us that.
Licorice (C9) $6,800 TOP
Not much to say here other than a cheap Cloud9 player who catches my attention.
Ignar (FLY) $4,600
Serviceable and inexpensive compared to the rest of the slate.
Sample Cash Lineup
This slate is wide open; don’t be afraid to take a risk. Most of these games are actually 50/50. Pick teams you like and find something you’re willing to work with.
