Moose breaks down DraftKings Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 5/8
This is a brand new competition, that I’ve found some edges on and I will share here. I am going to go by matchup and talk about what needs to happen for good Call of Duty scoring.
The scoring in Call of Duty requires winners, but does not account for games-not-played adjustments. Therefore, our best chance of getting the most out of our games is to look for good players, good matchups, and strong plays. We are searching for 3-1 or 3-2 scores more than 3-0.
Game Breakdown (Short and Sweet)
Atlanta Faze vs Paris Legion
Keeping it simple, this is a 3-0 or 3-1 in Atlanta’s favor. There doesn’t need to be anything more here really written. I am hoping that Legion take a map so we can get ATL on 2 hardpoint maps.
Players to target: Simp, Abezy, Kismet, Denz
London Ravens vs Optic Gaming Los Angeles
OGLA replacing Jkap so new roster coming in this weekend, London rightfully -225 favorites which I think is a fair line. I am not a huge fan of the Ravens but in this matchup I think they take it.
Players to target: Wuskin, Scrapz, Dashy, Slasher
New York Subliners vs Toronto Ultra
NY coming in off a hot Dallas event and looking good, but they are still a 2-win team. As is Toronto in this matchup of who knows what’s really going to happen. I think NY here will be chalk as they are cheap, effective, and highly favored. I think 3-1 NY is a fair score line prediction given the fact that Toronto are legit terrible. That being said, Faze’s roster is still my favorite chalk.
Players to target: Attach, Temp, Methodz, Classic
Minnesota Rokkr vs Florida Mutineers
Mutineers are actually kind of a scary team and they beat Minny in the last matchup. However, I’m not buying it and I like Minnesota here. This is a close 3-2 matchup and I think it goes either way.
Players to target: Fero, Skyz, GodRX, Alex

Play lineups that include either teams that are dogs (OGLA, TOR), and invest heavily into the MIN/FL matchup as that one could be a real banger!
