Moose breaks down DraftKings League of Legends LPL-LCK – March 26, 02:00 AM EST
Teams to Target
When playing a DraftKings League of Legends tournament, it is important to team stack and focus on narrowing down the teams that will provide the best chance of winning. Total score is determined by kills, assists and overall player performance in each LoL game that happens on the rift, but the goal is always to aim and stack winning teams for the easiest chance at taking down cash games and GPP tournaments. We take a closer look at what teams might be able to provide us an edge.
This slate leaves us with a lot of room to coordinate some good picks in the LCK as opposed to the LPL. LPL teams really are just focused around creating a fiesta and trying to outscore their opponents. This will be exhibited in my picks.
Gen.G $5,800 TEAM
It’s a bit of a spend, but I am firing up Gen.G players again tonight and pairing them with anyone I can. Our goal is getting Gen.G to actually try in this game, compared to last night when they completely walked over Griffin. Damwon showed holes last night and there’s talk of subs coming in. I’d imagine Beryl is out.
T1 $6,200 TEAM
I love this spot for T1, as anyone would when they are such a big favorite. I actually favor the T1 players a little bit more because I think that they are going to come back with some rust to shake off and I want to see some magic happen.
Suning $5,000 TEAM
This is my value pick for this slate. I think Suning will show WE what’s up and hand them an L, which is why I like the value of their team a lot. If you are doing SN stacks, feature them with LGD or another dog.
Players to Target
Player knowledge is just as important as team knowledge. Knowing where a player can shine in a line is what separates the people who cash GPPs regularly and those who fall off.
Mystic (AF) $7,800 ADC
Afreeca are winning this match against Sandbox, I just don’t like Afreeca. Love Mystic though if you are planning to use AF stacks.
Faker (T1) $7,600 MID
The most legendary player in LOL history needs no introduction. Faker is a certified beast and his matchup against Keine or Cover will be one that won’t pose much of a challenge.
Rascal (Gen.G) $6,800 TOP
Gen.G’s top laner continues to dominate and we just need him to not be complacent. Yesterday he was the higher-scoring top laner so I assume that this trend is going to continue. Feature him where you can.
Clid, (Gen.G) $7,000 JNG and Cuzz, (T1) $7,200 JNG
I like Clid and Cuzz about the same, it’s a total toss up on which one of them outscores the other. It makes this slate really hard for me to play because both of them are good players. Gun to my head, I wasn’t impressed with Clid yesterday.
Life, $5,600 (Gen.G) SUP
Life let us down yesterday, but we didn’t play him so it’s cool. It’s another easy matchup and he’s still the best support on the board.

GPP Tips
GPP players tonight are going to have to make a difficult choice in where to find value on such a slate. Many are going to pick LGD or Vici. Many are going to try to stack Suning.
My advice would be to work with the proven LCK/LPL steel and try to get stronger carries into the captain spot. Our cash lineup features a very safe top lane captain, but the juice in a GPP lineup comes from taking risks, upgrading to a stronger carry player and taking a risk in the team slot or support spot.
