Moose breaks down DraftKings League of Legends LPL-LCK – April 2 – 2:00 AM EST
Teams to Target
When playing a DraftKings League of Legends tournament, it is important to team stack and focus on narrowing down the teams that will provide the best chance of winning. Total score is determined by kills, assists and overall player performance in each LoL game that happens on the rift, but the goal is always to aim and stack winning teams for the easiest chance at taking down cash games and GPP tournaments. We take a closer look at what teams might be able to provide us an edge.
This slate has a lot of small favorites that are capable of losing very easily.
Top Esports $5,600 TEAM
My favorite team on the slate.
WE $5,400 TEAM
Involve them in your lineup for good fantasy points. Not as good as TES.
DragonX $5,000 TEAM
Value on this slate where we really need it.
APK Prince/Rogue Warriors/Hanwha Life TEAM
These teams are all capable of winning tonight. You want the RW carries, and I would recommend looking at APK’s Cover and Hybrid as well as Hanwha’s Tempt. APK, if they win, will need to score.
Players to Target
Player knowledge is just as important as team knowledge. Knowing where a player can shine in a line is what separates the people who cash GPP’s regularly and those who fall off.
Doran (DRX) $6,200 TOP
Too cheap for a very serviceable top.
Beishang (WE) $7,800 and Pyosik (JNG) $6,600 JNG
I’ve been jamming Pyosik in to contests for weeks.
Teacherma (WE) $7,200 MID Knight (TES) $8,000 MID
Two strong mids that are going to put up a lot of points. I expect these two and Fofo to be the leaders, unless Chovy decides to wake up.
X-factor: Ghost (DWG) $7,200 ADC
Lock-it-in: Deft (DRX) $6,600 ADC
You get the best ADC on the slate for $6,600, let that sink it.
DWG will start Ghost (I’m not even positive about this so I made 2 DWG lineups) but the last time he came out to play he put up 120 points on a nice W. The X-factor is if they lose game 1 he will be subbed.
Keria (DRX) $4,800 SUP
He was $6,000 yesterday.
Sample Cash Lineup (DRX-TES or TES-DRX)

Going to take a risk with Deft or Knight the captain and ride my way to cash land on two monster teams. The TES game is dead last too so you’ll be sweating the whole night.
Have fun!
GPP Tips
As always, you’re going to want a LPL upset for a true fiesta. That can come from any of the matches but I would look at RW, WE, and the TES/SN matchup.
